• Our tournaments are a major fundraiser for the high schools, and all proceeds go directly to the high school basketball programs.

If Schedule by Teams is selected and you play at multiple locations, please note your team will be listed twice in this section. Below are a few important details — PLEASE READ!

• Admission Charges (CASH ONLY):
– Adults: $5
– Children (5–17): $3
– Seniors (65+): $3
– Family: $10 (limit 4 members)

• Admission Covers All Sites:
There is only one admission charge per person, regardless of whether your team plays at multiple locations.

• Coach/Player Admission:
Two coaches per team and participating players receive free admission. All STORM coaches receive free admission.

• Uniforms:
The second team listed is the home team and should wear light-colored uniforms.

• Scorekeeping:
High school basketball players will run the clock and complete score sheets. Site supervisors will update scores in Fastbreak after each game.

• Awards:
1st-place teams will receive T-shirts by the end of their final game.
If your roster has more than 10 players, please stop by the admissions table (East or North HS) before leaving for your additional shirts. Maximum 12 shirts per team.

• Concessions:
Concessions will be available. No outside food or drink, please.

• State Qualifier Information:
Stormin’ to the Hoop is an official qualifier for the 2026 Illinois Middle School Basketball Championship (Grades 4–8) in Champaign, March 21–23.
Teams finishing 1st or 2nd in each division will receive an invitation.
(Grade 3 may play up in Grade 4.)

• Game Locations:
All games will be played at St. Charles East High School, St. Charles North High School, and Middle School gyms. Some divisions play at more than one site.

At St. Charles East, please note there are two separate buildings at the same address (1020 Dunham Rd):
• Main Building Courts: East Main, East Back
• Sports Center/Field House Courts: FH1, FH2, FH3
Each building has its own entrance, with an indoor walkway connecting them.
– Wredling Middle School is less than a one-minute drive from East High School.

St. Charles North High School is less than 10 minutes from Thompson Middle School.

• Arrival Times:
If your team is scheduled to play at 9:00 AM at either high school or 11:20 AM at one of the middle schools, please note that gym doors will open 30 minutes before the first game.

Please instruct families not to arrive earlier than 30 minutes before game time. The district enforces strict facility-entry guidelines, and early arrivals may be required to wait outside.

Doors will open at the following times:

• 8:30 AM – Either high school
• 10:45 AM – Thompson Middle School
• 10:45 AM – Wredling Middle School
