In-House Boys

Recreational League Grades 5 - 8

PROGRAM INFORMATION

The In-House Boys program is a developmental and recreational league for grades 5-8. The program is open to children who reside or attend schools within the boundaries of St. Charles School District 303. Grades 5 and 6 play October through January, and grades 7 and 8 play January through March. All children meeting the above criteria, regardless of ability level, will be placed on a team.

  • This league is recreational, with emphasis on development and fun.
  • Grades 5 and 6 play from late October through January.
  • Grades 7 and 8 play late January through March. 
     
  • Teams will be chosen by a coach's draft, with all players being placed on a team. If a player cannot attend the draft, they will be placed on a team in a blind draft at the conclusion of the draft.
     
  • REQUESTS FOR CARPOOLING, TEAM PLACEMENT, PRACTICE NIGHTS, FRIENDS OR COACHES CANNOT BE HONORED.
  • Grade 5 uses a 28.5 size ball; grades 6-8 regulation.
     
  • A maximum of ten players on a team.
     
  • One weekly practice (Monday-Friday). Practices will be held in D303 or various locations in St. Charles.
     
  • Approximately, 10-15 games will be played during the season. There will be some local out of district games throughout the season. All games will be held at D303 schools, various St. Charles locations or surrounding communities.
  • Games will be refereed by Illinois certified referees.
     
  • Teams are parent coached. If interested in coaching your child's team, please complete both the coach's application and background check forms. Coaches will be contacted by the director of the program.
     
  • Background checks are required for all head and assistant coaches.
  • Coaches will notify their players of team placement after the draft.
     
  • Coaches will contact players with practice and game schedules after October 2 for 5/6 boys and January 9 for 7/8 boys . Practice nights are Monday-Friday and selected by the coach. Games are on Saturday (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM) and/or Sunday (10:30 AM - 6:00 PM). Several weeknight games are possible.

REGISTRATION FEE

The cost of the In-House program is $245. Fee includes a reversible jersey, 10 games (plus an end of season tournament) and weekly practices.

Registration Dates for BOTH Fall and Winter Leagues 

ALL registrations, for fall and winter leagues received after September 10, will incur a $25 late fee. 

In-House Boys (Grades 5 and 6) - The registration fee is due no later than September 15. NO refunds will be given after this date.

In-House Boys (Grades 7 and 8) - The registration fee is due no later than December 15. NO refunds will be given after this date.

 

The Registration "In-House Boys" is not currently available.

Evaluations are 60 minutes for each grade. 
Times may be split into two sessions based on the player's last name. Communication to follow prior to evaluation dates.
